Criteria Academic All-Conference Team

      ·         To qualify, student/athletes must maintain a 3.0 or higher GPA for two previous semesters  and have passed a minimum of 24 credit hours.

·         It will be the responsibility of each Athletic Administrator to nominate all qualifying student/athletes from their respective institutions. The nomination form will include student-athletes’ name, GPA, completed hours, and sport. All nominations will be sent to the Athletic Director Liaison selected by the conference.

·         All nominations will be due to the Athletic Director Liaison by June 11.

Distinguished Scholar Athlete of the Year

·         One female and one male athlete will be recognized as the Distinguished Conference Scholar Athlete of the Year. This award will be presented to the athlete with the highest GPA in the MCCAC.

·         The Athletic Director Liaison will select the student-athletes with the highest GPA from the qualifying student/athletes provided by the conference Athletic Adminstrators.

Awards

·         All award winners will receive a certificate.
